Summary: The house was beatiful and we had a restful stay. But the pictures make the house look a bit more modern than it is. Also, with the house being as big as it is, I was disappointed there were not more bedding options. The rooms were so large, but only had one bed in each one. Could benefit if they had some rooms with twin beds (for those that aren't comfortable sleeping together), or some bunkbed options or more pull out couches.

Summary: We loved our stay at the Cline Estate - it was convenitently located right next to 3-4 different vineyards (Viansa Winery across the street is a MUST DO) and the complimentary tasting at Cline was a nice touch! The estate was perfect for a group of 8 of us - 4 bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms, a huge dining room table to seat all of us, and a couple of cozy living room areas. The backyard was an oasis - the hottub and fireplace made for a perfect space to spend our evenings, and the "no amplified music" rule made it even more peaceful. This felt like a luxurious retreat - 10/10 would recommend!

Summary: Stayed here for my 40th birthday with a group of 10 of us. Ran into some MAJOR issues during our stay which affected our overall experience. One wing of the house, one of the guests in my party complained of the water smelling “burnt” coming from 2 of the bathrooms, and did not feel comfortable showering there. So we had 2 other showers for our party of 10 to use to get ready. On the morning prior to our scheduled itinerary of wine tasting, the water in the entire house completely shut off. The property management contact person was unresponsive despite my many phone calls and texts directly to her and on the Vrbo app. We had to physically go to the wine tasting room at the winery to request for assistance who eventually was able to find an on-site maintenance person. This entire process took over an hour, and by the time the water came on, we were running late for our first scheduled wine tasting, unshowered, and unable to fully enjoy the experience we paid for at the winery. I have yet to hear a response back from the management after filing a formal complaint about this experience, especially with the amount we paid to stay at this property. Their response to the situation was subpar and unacceptable, and because of this, I wouldn't recommend staying here. If something goes wrong during your stay, be prepared that the response from staff will not be reliable. Other than this, the check in process was easy, place was clean and accurate to photos and listing.

Summary: This lovely villa is just an hour’s drive from our home and a world apart from our daily routines. Each member of the family was absolutely thrilled with the breathtaking location and the amenities that the villa has: comfortable beds, plenty of room for privacy and downtime, spa features (steam room, dry sauna, pool and hot tub), excellent kitchen and importantly a very responsive host. We are already looking into our next stay which will be at least four days.

Summary: The online photos of this house at Cline are 100% accurate! The house is nicely furnished, adequately-stocked, and VERY spacious and great for a group, with large congregating areas. The kitchen is well-arranged if you want to have a private chef come in (which we did, one evening). We were a group of 5 friends, so the 4 king bedrooms, each with en suite bath, was perfect. There are 2 bedrooms at one end of house, and 2 at the opposite end (1 of which is upstairs). House is very private and the pool area perfect for lounging in nice weather. The Cline Vineyards property is pretty, with ponds & fountains. Ditto Jacuzzi Vineyards across the street (same ownership). Only 2 "FYI caveats" to mention: (1) The upstairs & downstairs bedrooms at the one end of the house might be on a different well system than the rest of the house, because the hot water in those bathrooms had a very strong/unpleasant sulphur smell (somewhat unrelated, but worth a positive mention, was that the house had a large bottled jug water dispenser which management kept readily stocked - one needs to drink a lot of H2O when winery-hopping!), and (2) the location of the house in Carneros is a bit removed if one plans to spend a lot of time at Napa wineries. Downtown Napa is a 30-minute drive, and Calistoga is nearly an hour.

Summary: Stayed comfortably with 8 adults, made use of kitchen. Hot tub was a bit small but manageable, key was missing at check in. Otherwise perfect place to stay.
