Positive: Because of staffing issues the restaurant was not open. So the reviews that mentioned the bar noise is no longer an issue. Right across the street was Rezks restaurant which opens at 7am for breakfast which was fresh and cooked to order. The hotel is a recently remodeled 1890's hotel, it is nicely done and very clean. It is not staffed all the time but there is a phone # to call if you need anything. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hot water takes a little time to make to up to 3rd floor, but once it gets there it very hot. So if your looking to stay in northern Cambria I recommend this hotel over driving back to ebensburg everyday to sleep. Please remember that is a very old building very clean and quiet.

Negative: there could be a coffee service available maybe in the hallways or the rooms. There is a sheetz across the street which has fresh coffee 24/7 so its not to inconvenient. The room did include a small fridge to store cold drinks.

Summary: We had a great 2 day stay in my hometown!

Positive: The location was right where we needed to be. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean other than what I'm listing below.

Negative: There isn't an elevator because it's an old building. The room smelled and the air fresher in the room made it all the more worse. Not a good combo for someone that gets headaches from strong smells. There was a massive (what appeared to be blood) stain on the carpet that a chair was sitting on top of, I'm assuming to conceal it. We didnt see any staff members as they are short staffed. They left the keys in an evelope with my name on it on a table inside the entrance door. A bit scary because anyone could've come in and let themselves into the room before we got there.
