Summary: Night clerk outstanding, valet staff wonderful, restaurant staff helpful and the food was delicious. Day desk staff were condescending and obnoxiously rude. They are openly fine with treating guests differently based upon certain prejudicial criteria. Rooms not up to standard, limited staff, long waits for easy room repairs. Not a Michelin Key level hotel and how they could get such a designation strains credulity and brings into question the entire Michelin rating system. Once a jewel of LaCrosse is now buyer beware as there are no standards of practice at this independent hotel.

Summary: The Charmant hotel exceeded our expectations. Impeccable rooms and exquisite decor throughout the hotel. The only problem is that they tell you complementary valet and then, they charge you $20 for it. But you do get a $10 chip to be used at the bar for food and drinks.

Summary: Great hotel full of history…decor is amazing as is the roof top bar.. The shakshuka for breakfast was delicious… I would highly recommend this hotel Nice area for walking/runningalong the river

Summary: Fabulous hotel! Great valet service and check-in. Room was beautiful, comfortable & clean. Had a blast at the rooftop bar! Many great bars & restaurants within a few blocks, and a pleasant 1.5 mile walk to UW-LaCrosse. Will be back!
