Positive: The whole place is outstanding, great facilities, super clean, the beds are the best! Perfect also for my mobility issue with a downstairs bedroom and a walk-in shower it was perfect! Overall, it's just an absolute stunning place to stay. The owners have been amazing throughout. Nothing was too much. We loved the local pub (the temple bar). All the locals were very welcoming in there, and the food was stunning. We would definitely return, we stayed here as my husband and cousin were booked in the oldfield Forge, which was 16 minutes away so staying here was perfect..

Positive: Lovely property which was extremely comfortable, clean and warm. We didn't need to use the wood burner as it was not cold enough, but can imagine how great this would be later in the year when it gets colder. Peaceful location with easy access to Hereford, the Forest of Dean and the Brecons which we visited. Thursday was market day in Hay-on-Wye, a great day out, but get there early for a parking space!

Negative: Difficult to be negative here, sadly no parking available at the property but we parked along the road, a couple of minutes from the Chapel, which we knew in advance so not a massive downer.

Summary: Great late Autumn break in a lovely property, thank you to John and Jo. A real credit to you

Negative: We hadn’t picked up on the fact you couldn’t park at the property itself - but it wasn’t a big problem - we managed by pulling over at the curb on the opposite side of the road to unload . There is road parking within 500 yds
