Summary: We had a wonderful week at the Channel Cabin. We went out almost every day on the kayaks and enjoyed all that nature had to offer on the lakes. After a day of paddling the hot tub was such a lovely treat! On our rainy day we pulled the couch trundle into a bed and snuggled in for a relaxing movie day. We received kind and attentive communication from the host when we reached out with a question.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at this little cabin for a long weekend with our dog. We had a great time! The house is cozy and comfortable and we found it to be as described by the host. The hot tub is very nice and we also used the fire pit and grill. We absolutely loved the use of the kayaks, the channel and two lakes! We watched the sunset over the lake from the kayaks which was beautiful. Bring bug spray and expect to get a touch muddy but it is totally worth it! There is a nearby grocery store and hiking trails. We had an awesome trip!

Summary: We spent 3 nights in this cozy cabin. If you need to get away for a while, this is the place for you. Perfect couple's getaway. AND, we could bring our dog.When we checked in, the host immediately asked if we needed anything and to contact him if we did.When we had one issue ( our fault, couldn't figure how to heat up the hot tub), Mike promptly texted us to solve it. It is very clean, comfy bed, all the basics provided. We definitely recommend it.

Summary: Definitely NOT waterfront. The area around this property is unkept, the other 'houses' are run down, and there is junk in many of the yards. This was advertised as waterfront, but there is zero water view unless you walk down a long path, part of which is walking on RR ties, to get to a channel. There are no doors on the bedrooms, only curtains that don't come close to the floor, so you don't get any privacy. The host was very responsive and the hot tub was nice.
