Positive: The location was excellent, the facilities were basic but serviceable. It is in a very peaceful area.

Negative: Disturbed second night as our neighbour had his television on all night playing Forensic Files. Very annoying.

Summary: A motel stop like the old days in a very peaceful spot.

Positive: This property is about 20 minutes from Cedar Point but is absolutely worth the extra. The water views of the bay are beautiful. There’s a restaurant/bar within walking distance with a rooftop deck that serves breakfast. The rooms were small but charming and very clean. Hot water with great pressure. Small fridge and microwave was just enough. My only complaint would be the bed was hard and thin, blankets and sheets were otherwise comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy and they had actual soap/shampoo in the shower. Staff was on site 24 hours and easily reached. Highly recommend this property!

Positive: Kitschy, darling 50s-style motel! I felt transported back to happier, simpler times… the motel had all the comforts we needed, in a quiet atmosphere near water and nature. A serene experience. And the hotel manager, Saundra, was welcoming and friendly.
