Positive: The host was great, very nice and warm. It is the only place in Iceland where we really felt welcomed and made to feel good. It was the best mattress we had during our stay (10 nights) They have horses and invited us to tag along to pet and feed them when we asked, and you can book a riding tour with them if you are interested Kitchen was fully fonctional with all you need to cook proper meals or just have a snack (oven, cooking top with more than 2 burners, toaster, good coffee machine, etc..). No cooking oil however. The binucolars were a lovely touch, and the ocean view is amazing. If you like animals and nature you will love it here, they have a lovely patio with tons of plants and a couple of sweet rabbits, and a small and very friendly dog (Hi Loki, we miss you!). It is a small but charming town in Iceland

Negative: Other: unfortunately I had some trouble sleeping due to the noise of the wind howling and the snow falling on the roof.
