Positive: If I could give this property a higher score I would! Simply amazing! Accommodation was so well finished, excellent attention to detail. Great food with the owner being a trained chef. Such a dark valley the aurora would be amazing. We will be back!

Positive: Amazing rural property, with even more amazing hosts. It was like going to a friend’s house for dinner. Cottage with a view down the valley even gave us a glimpse of the northern lights. Truly Wonderful.

Positive: The staff was so kind. The breakfast was delicious and dinner was very tasty. It’s in a lovely peaceful setting. We got to see the northern lights right from our tiny house deck. Loved the comforters.

Negative: The orientation of the bunk bed. My poor husband slammed his head into it twice and so we ended up hanging the wool blanket there and he slept with his head at the opposite end. I think a pad added to the side could really help.

Positive: Small but perfectly formed. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Staff super friendly helpful and although the food menu looks basic the quality is superb. But the location is the real reason to visit. Just stunning and a taste of what it is to live on a an Icelandic farm.

Positive: We had an amazing stay at this place! The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

Positive: We had a great one night stay in Dalahyttur, the surrounding ist amazing, the rooms brand new, warm and comfortable. The hosting woman is amazing, and so were dinner and breakfast. We had a delicate storm that night, but we fehlt secure and cosy.

Positive: This property out in the wonderland is beautiful and so fun to stay there. We had a warm greeting from the host. Everything was immaculate clean. It's a wonderful place to view the northern lights. Our room was comfortable with a great shower. Very beautiful furnishings and linens. We had a small fridge with a kettle. We even had a small deck to enjoy the Iceland views with sheep grazing nearby. Parking is very nice - just two steps outside the door. Marie or maybe it was Maria was our breakfast host and she had a beautiful presentation of an Iceland breakfast. We really enjoyed this location and can't wait to go back. Thank you, Dalahyttur

Positive: Awesome! Best dinner in Iceland so far. We had to leave early in the morning, so Gudrun prepared a take away breakfast box for us. It was absolutely amazing. Huts and interior are extremely stylish and comfortable. Thanks for everything!
