Welcome to Kentucky's premiere private luxury estate situated on eight double gated, guarded acres of Bluegrass by the banks of the Elkhorn Creek just outside of Frankfort.
Your estate is anchored by a 15,000 square foot custom luxury home boasting eight spacious bedrooms on three levels. You'll also find seven full bathrooms, two half baths, multiple living and dining areas, two professionally equipped kitchens, private offices, & a recreational room featuring full-sized pool table and steam room.
One of the eight bedrooms is a family-style adventure land of 680 square feet including two queen beds, two trundle beds with two twin beds on each, and a family friendly entertainment area with gaming center. Other Estate bedrooms include five king suites and two queen suites, multiple sofas, and three twin rollaway beds.
Relax outdoors on one of your many porches or patios or visit your resort style Aquatic Oasis featuring a 30X60 luxury pool with full sized custom built-in hot tub.
The inground group spa hot tub is always open year round & features aquatic temperatures averaging 98-103 degrees. Pool is also open year round and is heated for maximum comfort.
You'll enjoy daily included pool and spa upkeep & refresh by our trained staff each morning, spacious private pool bar with mounted television, & full pool bathroom.
After a day at the pool, enjoy s'mores at your firepit on the banks of the Elkhorn Creek while the water flows naturally through the famous Kentucky limestone rock formations up and down the creek bank.
Prior to arrival, your individual concierge will contact you to assist you in making optional arrangements for dining & catering from our private menu selections. Your concierge will also discuss daily housekeeping and security service options and assist you in booking private tours of Bourbon and Horse Country in our own 14 passenger luxury excursion vans.

Sample Bourbon Trail Tour: The Big Three...and Lunch : This high energy, fast-paced tour visits the breathtaking grounds of Woodford Reserve to begin the day for a full scale tour and bourbon tasting. From there, we'll head just up the road for a private lunch at Bourbon on Main in Downtown Frankfort (cocktails, also...hmm?:) and then pop next door to Buffalo Trace for their "Hard Hat Tour." We'll end the day at Wild Turkey Distillery for a tour and tasting. We might even see their official bourbon spokesperson, Matthew McConaughey or--even better--their founding statesman Jimmy Russell. This tour can last between 7 and 8 hours depending on how long you linger. $150/Guest/Six Guest Minimum

Summary: A beautiful home in need of many minor repairs. Doors that don’t close, worn out flooring, old bathroom fixtures. Definitely in need of a makeover. Complete lack of communication from property managers. Left on our own to navigate the power being turned off apparently from management not paying their bills. Lovely pool. Pool furnishings in disrepair. Beautiful creek. Creekside deck seems a bit wonky. Overall we enjoyed our time as a family, but would not rent with this management again.

Summary: There were 16 of us , 8 couples who have been friends since high school that did a short getaway trip here. We had a fantastic time and have already rebooked for next year. The home is large and easily accommodated our group. It could use a little TLC but the few issues we encountered were quickly addressed. The staff and host were easy to contact and responded quickly. The pool was awesome and heated to just the right temperature. We enjoyed hanging out there and were able to watch the football games at the poolside bar. My only complaint was the fire pit that was down at the riverbank , half of it was right on the edge of the water so we were unable to all sit around it. The ground around it was also unleveled making it difficult to place chairs around it . I would consider bringing my family here but I feel the fire pit area would be unsafe for the kids to roast marshmallow’s at. The lake that runs along the back of the property is beautiful and some were able to fish and did catch a few. All in all it is great place to stay! SEPTEMBER 2023

Summary: We rented the home for a family gathering, and it was perfect for our purpose. We spent most of the time outdoors, either in the pool, outdoor bar or sitting by the creek. Pros: Beautiful grounds and location Comfy beds Quiet Plenty of space Great kitchen space, all the gadgets you could need, well stocked kitchen Communication and instructions with the property management team Cons: Minor things here or there, doors that stick, screws that need tightened, a light out here or there. It is an older home and I’m sure in her day she was spectacular. Overall, we would stay again!

Summary: This place is beautiful. The pool area needs to be updated and the diving board is no longer there but what a gorgeous property. The grounds and creek provided additional entertainment for our pets and those that love to fish. I would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: We enjoyed staying in Kentucky at the Capital at Elkhorn Creek for our bi-annual extended family vacation. The house was spacious, clean and met our needs perfectly. There were several items that should be addressed to benefit future guests however. The TV's d not all connect to the internet. Only the pool bar TV seems to work properly. This was mentioned to the property manager immediately but was not resolved during our 9 days there. The bathtub located above the main kitchen leaks badly add significant water came through the ceiling into the kitchen. Fortunately it was quickly discovered and the tub wasn't used for the remainder of our stay. A video was shared with the property manager to show the water pouring into the kitchen. A number of minor items should be addressed, including broken pool cues (only 2 didn't have broken tips), the lack of a sufficient number of forks, coffee cups, miserly allocation of toilet tissue (we had to purchase our own after only 2 days). We didn't let any of these items distract from our enjoyment. We enjoyed our stay, the pool, grounds, and the spacious rooms made for a great large family get away.

Summary: We had an amazing time at the Capitol. We enjoyed every aspect of this property. It is beautiful , secluded and luxurious. The check in was seamless and staff was available to always answer questions. We look forward to returning again.
