Positive: Everything, the room was spacious very clean and comfortable. Bar & Dining area was good. Staff very friendly. Car parking good. Breakfast was adequate.Value for money

Positive: I liked the location, the free parking. The pub was welcoming and warm. The bedroom was clean with a nice ensuite. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, with enough choice.

Negative: Our room was at the front of the property, which was on a road. This road is busy and although we did sleep well, we woke early with the traffic going pass and with a door down stairs that kept banging during the early breakfast period. We arrived on a Monday night and was told that no food was served on a Monday or Tuesday night. However another pub serving mostly burgers with a few vegan/vegetarian dishes, was recommended to us, which was about a 5 minute walk down the road.

Summary: For a few nights, this place is ideal.

Positive: Nice room, good quality bed linen.

Negative: Bed was a bit hard for us but we are aware this is a subjective preference.

Positive: Breakfast wasn't cooked properly or the chief was late and my husband left without breakfast.

Negative: If you travel by car, and especially when it is dark, the roads aren't comfortable to drive on. The chef should be on time and fix a proper breakfast. I stayed in the hotel during the day and it was cold. There should be some heat. They should try the food before they refer the customers to go to the other pub for food. Food was aweful. The pub which was offfering food was very close to this pub. I wouldn't recommend it. At the same time, you cannot find any other shops or pubs aroun the corner either.
