Positive: I was very glad we had a conversation with our host first as the postcode would not have taken us directly to the property. However with more clear instructions we made it earlier in the light which was more important than trying to navigate this in the dark - thanks to Tom. The house was charming, warm and spacious for 3 people with a well equipped kitchen and snug downstairs living room. This is a perfect place for accessing the Long Mynd walks, with easy road to the top with stunning views. I recommend this house as a great long weekend break near Marshbrook and Church Stretton in Shropshire.

Negative: There was no information sheet as to how to turn on central heating or electric fires or where the washing machine could be found - which would have been helpful on arrival. Tom was very helpful but maybe this guide would minimise the calls! Driving up to the house - dodging the potholes in the dark - was not much fun!

Summary: This is a great house, cosy and snug for family or adults who like to walk around the Long Mynd.

Positive: Spacious clean and full of character… absolutely stunning views. Extremely well equipped idyllic 🥰

Negative: A Washing machine instead of dishwasher would be more beneficial.. AND you need to have TRANSPORT.. the cottage is in a beautiful secluded area but no taxis in area

Positive: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was comfortable and spacious for a family of four. The hosts are lovely people and we on hand to deal with any queries promptly. It is newly renovated and you can tell that they have thought about all the little details to make it a comfortable stay. The surroundings are very quiet and you can go straight out the door onto footpaths and bridleways to access fabulous walking. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Negative: There is no garden space, which means we couldn’t take our children out for a kick about with a football or anything but that wasn’t a big issue.

Summary: A newly renovated gem in a beautiful part of the world.
