Positive: Lovely spacious cottage,clean and well equipped throughout.Lovely furniture,decor,design etc.Beds were very comfy.Ideal location for dog walking,good selection of shops cafes etc in village and easy for trips out in the car to beaches/other towns/villages,sightseeing places. etc.Enjoyed our stay even though weather was against us.

Positive: Excellent location in a lovely village within walking distance of shops, pub and restaurants. Four comfortable bedrooms and a large sitting room with plenty of space.

Negative: The property could benefit from one more shower, but it didn’t affect our stay.

Positive: Great house for 7 people, location suited us very well. The beds were comfy, the house was warm, the kitchen was modern and was well equipped. The overall decor and atmosphere of the house was charming, with great attention to detail - like the cast iron roll top bath, the bakelite light switches, and so on. The large sitting room was just what we needed.

Negative: The downstairs shower room was a bit less nice, with a slightly feeble electric shower (a shame as water pressure was great!) and could do with re-grouting the shower cubicle.

Summary: Perfect for us - we might book it again.

Positive: Location and the space was great for 8 adults. Lovely area. The kitchen has good supply of cooking and cleaning equipment. Easy access to the property. Great pub next door and lovely river with benches 5 mins from the door step. Great place for our older parents with limited mobility. Really enjoyed our stay.

Negative: Flushing the upstairs toilet was tricky but fortunately one adult seemed to figure it out! It is an old style with a chain. The shower could be cleaner. I was tempted to get a tooth brush and bleach to it. The rest of the property was clean so only a minor issue

Positive: Location was perfect for our needs. Beautiful walks and a very good pub next door. Town is pretty and there was a market on the weekend we stayed.

Negative: Issue with cleanliness, but contacted the owner (after our departure) who committed to dealing with this quickly. Not enough to make us want to leave!

Summary: Lovely cottage, lovely location, would stay again.
