A special thank you to Andre, who is truly an outstanding host. His communication is top-notch — you never have to wonder about anything because he responds almost immediately and is always willing to assist. What really makes The Boathouse stand out is the incredible sense of privacy and tranquility. It's the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with family. The stunning artwork throughout the house adds so much character and charm, making the experience even more special. My family absolutely LOOOOOOOVED every moment of our stay! We are already missing The Boathouse 😞 and counting down the days until we return. Positive: It is a nice and quite neighbourhood. The host was always prepared to help, if needed. Sunset can be viewed from the bedroom window. Easy access to the main road. Big Braai inside the living area.

Positive: They had EVERYTHING that we needed and more. This is our second stay at the BOATHOUSE and I will be back next year with the family again! Andre has been helpful from the moment we booked. Thank you so much. A big thank you to the cleaning staff as well, the place is suoer neat!

Positive: Perfect. Out of the books. This is one of our favourite spots to visit. The Boathouse is a sanctuary for our family to escape the city and enjoy the tranquility of Veldrif. The house has everything you need and is super comfortable. Our dogs love to run around in the spacious yard. We also enjoyed a little fishing and birdwatching in the huge tree in the yard as well as down by the water. The indoor braai was fantastic and the dart board provided us with hours of enjoyment as well. Lots of great suggestions from the host for spots to visit as well. Thanks Andre for having us. We will definitely be back.
