Positive: I love older properties and this was just my taste with lovely decor, I really felt at home. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable with clean fresh linen. Great shower and kitchen with all facilities. Relaxing lounge with plenty of room. Really close to the sea front but very quiet area.

Negative: An ice tray for the freezer as very warm weather and cold drinks were welcome but this is a minor issue in an otherwise great stay

Positive: EVERYTHING… this place is so very special & there’ll be no more hotel chains for us from now on when we visit my daughter who’s in the Royal Navy . Exceptional neighbourhood , the property is magical , the thoughtfulness of the host Penny is above & beyond . I wanted to move-in forever :-) until the next time

Positive: The Blue Door really felt like a home. The owner has a real eye for design and we loved the decor. The location is very close to the seafront and we easily found a parking space on the street outside the property. Would stay here again!
