Negative: Too many tchotchkes all over horizontal surfaces in our room. Made it difficult to find room for our things and then not forget them before we left.

Positive: The included breakfast was very good - it was plated, and you could order what you wanted via a website. The room was very comfortable and clean. They included a binder of the history of the house and local attractions. I was only there overnight on a road trip, but I'd happily stay longer.

Negative: I did not find a hair dryer - but I also didn't ask, so that's on me.

Positive: I think it was made earlier then reheated. I had to ask for a new tea bag as the one I was given was used. You need to stock English Breakfast tea. Breakfast was ready right on time. The woman checked on my needs frequently.

Negative: See above breakfast comments.

Positive: Accommodating, friendly staff and delicious breakfast in a wonderful and unique old victorian house. The Halloween decor was perfect for the season. We want to stay again!

Positive: We appreciated the check-in arrangement as we received a text explaining where to get the keys. The 3 upstairs suites were close together but there was no noise issue. We went to our favorite restaurant, Gela’s, and came back to our cozy room. Breakfast was served right on time. We got to set the time and choose from a menu. We’ve been spending a night in Hays for about 15 years coming from Georgia on our way to Colorado! We are pleased to have discovered this B&B!

Negative: We could not get hot water in the bathroom sink. Everything else was fine!
