Positive: All the wonderful reviews about The Birdnest Inn are absolutely true. This is a fantastic place to stay in Aiken! Melinda, the owner, is incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. She makes you feel truly welcome and treats you like family from the moment you arrive. Melinda is such an interesting and inspiring host, with so many beautiful stories to share. The house itself is beautifully decorated, with gorgeous pottery pieces throughout — each one with its own story and meaning. It really adds to the charm and makes the whole place feel special and full of character. On top of all that, Melinda prepares a delicious breakfast that we absolutely loved. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend The Birdnest Inn to everyone!

Negative: No option to walk anywhere from the inn....have to get in a car to eat supper etc
