Positive: The hotel looks impressive and offers all the amenities you’d expect from a five-star property, but my stay was just average. The room was clean and well-presented, and the staff were polite. However, I didn’t feel much warmth or extra attention—service was efficient, but not memorable.

Negative: We booked one of the hotel’s most expensive rooms, expecting an exceptional experience. While the accommodation was spacious and comfortable, we were disappointed by the lack of access to the hotel spa. Instead, we were redirected to th leisure centre, which didn’t match the atmosphere or standards we anticipated. We were told the spa was for day users only! Truly disappointed. For a five-star property, this felt underwhelming. The staff were professional, but there was little effort to make our stay special, especially given the price. The room was spotless, but the overall value didn’t justify the high cost.

Negative: Breakfast was chaotic and busy. Our room was in a new wing - why don’t they offer alternative breakfast areas in the new wing to ease congestion. Queuing like in a school canteen isn’t what you expect on a premium weekend break
