Positive: The Barnhaus is secluded and serene. Great for a weekend getaway. We contacted them for a private boat from Surigao City port. The facilities were superb and tidy, complete with a kitchen, beddings and towels.

Negative: Just be aware to book them on good weather to fully enjoy the place.

Positive: Truly one of the most idyllic places we've stayed so far. The journey to the remote island is a highlight in itself. The water is crystal clear and shimmers in wonderful colours. The villa offers plenty of space and is beautifully furnished. There is a beautiful natural swimming pool in front of the house. On request, the very attentive and friendly staff will catch you fresh lobster. The peace and quiet is fantastic. The boat tour through the mangroves and to the small villages on the water was also an absolute highlight. Thanks for everything
