Positive: Our stay at The Barn at Wayland Farm in Beaminster, Dorset, was absolutely great and exceeded mine and my 2 sons expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how meticulously clean and well-maintained the entire property was. It was evident that a lot of care goes into preparing the barn for guests, leaving us feeling immediately comfortable and at ease. One of the most impressive aspects was the sheer spaciousness the barn. The rooms felt huge, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax, whether in the living area or the bedrooms. It was much larger than we had anticipated from the photos. Even with multiple people, we never felt cramped, allowing for relaxing and unhurried atmosphere. The Barn proved to be incredibly comfortable. The furnishings were cozy and inviting, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Dorset, the log burner would be amazing in the winter. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the overall ambiance was one of warmth and tranquility. It truly felt like a home away from home, providing a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Adding to the positive experience was the warm and friendly welcome from the host, Julian, who was incredibly helpful and ensured we had everything we needed and was keen to make sure he was contactable if we need anything. The rural setting of Wayland Farm, with its lovely views over the countryside and glimpses of the farm animals, only added to the holiday as did the wildlife such as deer, rabbits and bats that can be see literally on the door step. In summary, The Barn at Wayland Farm is a great holiday rental. Its impeccable cleanliness, surprising spaciousness, and undeniable comfort make it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to enjoy and explore the beauty of Dorset. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Positive: Julian was a fantastic host and was great to coordinate with for our late arrival. The location is serene and very nice for a few days stay. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: The property was a lot bigger than I expected there was plenty of space in all the rooms the host was very friendly and chatty the venue over the country side was lovely even the donkeys sead hello considering it was a working farm it was very peaceful definitely recommend.

Negative: There was nothing I didn't like about this property or the host.

Summary: One of the best places I have stayed looking forward to going back.

Positive: Great base to explore the West country with fantastic views over Dorset and the animals in the farm yard. Accommodation very spacious and well equipped. Plenty of hot water and good heating. Good walks from the property including a short walk to the Winyard Gap pub. Highly recommend.
