Summary: We stayed here for a change of pace from working remote from our home in NJ and to get in some snowboarding at Mohawk Mountain. The Barn was exactly as advertised. I highly recommend The Barn, especially if you are a musician (we are not!). The property was clean and the driveway was plowed after a snow storm. The host was very accessible, proactive, and helpful. We are considering going back next month. Thank you Richard for a cool unique cozy fun stay.

Summary: Absolutely loved our 3 nights at the Barn. We took an impromptu ski trip to Catamount and Ski Butternut, and stayed here. Gorgeous area with local lakes and hills, and pretty drive up Under Mountain Road to Ski Butternut. The Millerton-Lakeville-Salisbury corner of the world is special, with abundant natural beauty, wonderful restaurants, antiquing, pretty old homes, local movie theatre, Hotchkiss events. Could not have been happier about our choice. The Barn is beautifully decorated, and so cozy and inviting. Perfect feng shui. Did not want to leave. It was bitter cold the weekend we stayed but the pellet stove made the Barn warm and lovely -- honestly tempted to skip the skiing and stay "home" in the Barn and read, listen to music, sip coffee. The owner was thoughtful and responsive. Wonderful, relaxing 3 days. Hope to go back.
