Negative: I found the bed, pillows and duvet and uncomfortable. Nothing cosy just very practical.

Positive: The property was lovely and clean,and comfortable with good amenities plenty of space with 2 bathrooms. It is situated in a good central location for visiting many places, such as Bath, Longleat and Cheddar. We would definitely come to stay again.

Negative: Nothing we disliked about the property but just to be aware that it is on a working farm.

Positive: We arrived at the property which was beautiful lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable. We used it as a base to go out and do activities everyday which it was perfect for. It's on a main road and very close to Bradford on Avon which had lovely independent shops. We hired bikes and trailers from TT cycles and I can fully recommend the canal path towards Bath. Our children 4 and 3 loved it. It's close to Bath and Longleat too both which we visited. Its a perfect base if you have lots of activities planned on the local area.

Positive: Lovely converted farm building actually set on a working farm. It was fresh and clean with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for my friend and I as a base for some sightseeing in the local area. There was parking for two cars outside. It had a seating area outside facing the sunshine in the evening. The small kitchen was well equipped with cooker, dishwasher and fridge, cafetière, kettle and toaster. Plenty of utensils and pans too. Small TV on the wall. The two sofas have footrest extenders which was perfect after a long day sightseeing!

Negative: There were a couple of minor things that could have been improved. We would really have appreciated a hook on the back of bathroom doors. The kettle was a bit ‘furry’ (I appreciate it is a hard water area!) which didn’t look very nice. The privacy venetian blind on the glass front door was broken, so it wouldn’t drop down fully. The weather was warm when we were there, we both found the duvets very warm, lighter spring/summer duvet would have been more comfortable.

Summary: Great base for the local area, located on a working farm, so be prepared for farm noises 🙂

Positive: We loved the property, which was just the right size for our group of four, plus two dogs. It was lovely to find a place that is dog friendly, with a very large back garden, and was so comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Ash to our friends.

Negative: Nothing, The Ash had everything we needed and was exactly what we were looking for. As it is a working farm, you need to expect farm machinery and animal noises, but this didn't disturb us.
