Summary: If you are looking for a stay with minimal effort in a lovely Gite. Look no further. We stayed here alone (with no other guests) and had the run of the place which the owners had no problem with. We used all the facilities in the grounds and even had some of the fruit growing in the orchard. My wife and I with 8 and 6 year old children loved our week here and were wanting for nothing. Positives Really friendly owners that will always be on hand if you need anything Large grounds to go fishing or boating. We did both and caught a trout in the lake. BBQ to cook out doors which we did most nights Wifi everywhere even by the pool Clean and well appointed accommodation. Again everything we needed was there to use. Outdoor sporting equipment like bats and table tennis, swings etc kept kids happy. Negatives A little out of the way to anywhere so car needed all of the time. Local village is DEAD. The shop for basics was basic and a struggle to buy anything. Maybe toilet roll. Never used the lounge or TV so couldn't comment on that. Beds and shower room both comfortable.

Summary: We booked the coach house for a last minute summer holiday. We really didn't know where in Aquitaine we wanted to stay and so just went for the place that looked the nicest in the pictures for our budget! We weren't disappointed. Unlike many properties, it was as good in reality as it looked in the photographs. The grounds are lovely and the accommodation was clean and spacious. We arrived very late, around 2am after a 14hr drive but Tas, the owner had stayed up to meet us and show us around. She was friendly and helpful and her recommended restaurant (petit auberge) was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Whilst there we saw how much work goes into keeping le seguinet in good condition, with Tas and her helpers working every day on the grounds and property. We would certainly like to return and will recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
