Positive: Spacious room with balcony, good view, comfortable beds, fresh food and excellent staff. Very large geyser so we got hot water during power cuts as well.
Negative: Few things can be improved. Some chairs can be provided in the room for sitting. Some lights in the desk area. Glass cubicles in the toilet so that water does not spill in other parts of the bathroom. There is a lot of power cut so may be have a generator. When we stayed, there was construction work going on in the upper floors and there was water seepage near the staircase.

Negative: I booked for two nights and left after the first night. No refund from the hotel or booking.com. There was no power at the hotel during the night. Inverter kept a couple of lights on, but the phone couldn't be charged. When I woke up in the morning I tried to use the electric kettle to have some warm water and coffee but it didn't work. Around 8 am I tried calling the reception but no one picked up, went to the reception at 8.30 am and it was closed, till 9 am no one responded. Reception opened at 9 am. General staff behavior was good, but I couldn't just accept the fact that there was no response from the staff even at 8 am when they knew the power goes there often and didn't inform me about it in advance. I paid 3k per night for the room and I certainly expect the staff to respond when needed. When I told the staff that I want to cancel to cancel for the second night, they asked me to contact booking.com, booking.com told me that the property is not responding to there call. So, I have still not got any refund. Book at the risk of being abandoned at the property without power.
Summary: Booked for 2 nights left after the first night.

Positive: It's close to a sightseeing spot, Buddha Park. One can go there by walking. The bathroom has a huge geyser of 100 liters of hot water. This translates into availability of hot water all the time. The room has an excellent view of the mountains.
Negative: To access the room one needs to take long stairs, around 30/40 stairs. We are senior citizens. This climbing up and down was really tiresome for us. The room was very cold so they offered a bigger size heater on rent. The rent was 800 rupees per night. We took ithe heater otherwise we would have shivered the whole night. It appeared that they purposely didn't put heating arrangements in the room so that we pay extra for the comfort that was expected for the money we already spent. I noticed that whenever they issued a receipt for the money they wrote it on a bill book by hand. It was not done through the computer. That gave me feelings that they don't keep all transactions transparent. By the way, they don't accept credit cards, only cash and online payment with the QR code. We foreigners can't pay through online, hence, I had to gather cash for all transactions. I will never go back to this hotel, although the hotel staff were polite.
