Home House is a beautiful thatched property in a quintessential Devon village, with 2 great pubs. We are within easy walking distance of the Teign Estuary and there are numerous beaches nearby. There is a private heated swimming pool and a lovely summer house in the garden. The house itself has superfast broadband and a games room with pool table.

Summary: If you want a family holiday up to 9 people in South Devon in the Countryside, staying in a traditional thatched cottage, then this is the place for you. Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. The pool was great and enjoyed by all the family, the children especially. All the amenities you require on holiday were at the cottage and more. Nigel and Jill were perfect hosts, there when you wanted anything but not there when you didn’t. Local pub 2 minutes away was great, as was the Church Inn pub in the next village, 5 minute drive. We would throughly recommend Home House for a Countryside holiday in a beautiful location in South Devon Tempest/ Wilson family

Summary: We really enjoyed our time in Devon. Jill made it super easy to checkin and the property was spotless. We loved the neighborhood and the easy walk to the local shops and pubs. The pool on the property was fantastic and we all had a great time in it. We would recommend this for any family looking for a relaxing time in Devon
