Positive: The staff were lovely, chatty and kind. The young lad on reception carried my mum’s case upstairs for her. Everyone greeted you warmly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was a short walk from the centre of Canterbury, ideal for a base. The car park, whilst small was ample during our stay. It was spotlessly clean. The pool area looked amazing, we didn’t use it ourselves, but could see it was clean.
Negative: The only downside was breakfast. The buffet cooked breakfast was good and you could ask for fried eggs. The continental was adequate but only offered toast, cereal, pain au chocolat, Greek yoghurt and tinned peaches. Some other fruit would have been nice to have with the yoghurt.
Summary: Very good for the price
