Positive: I don't often give a property a 10, but could've given this an 11 (and the host a 12). Property was well located (a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre, easy parking outside the house), spacious, very well furnished, very good showers, & spacious, so everything that could be needed. But what stood out were the personal touches from the host - letting us know we could have early check-in; giving us good suggestions for where we stopped off on the way; and providing (excellent) cakes, and wine/gin, and other foods/essentials for our arrival.
Negative: nothing.
Summary: Great property, outstanding host.

Positive: This beautiful home had everything we needed to enjoy our time living there. The location is great - just a 10 mins walk to town and the road is quiet. Parking was very good too. Huge thanks to Barbra for everything, as she is an amazing host and the best baker I know ! 🍰 the decor of the home is great and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need.
Negative: That we don’t live there permanently hahaha
Summary: Highly recommended- we would definitely return.

Positive: This was one of the most exceptional places I have stayed. I was here with my parents who are visiting from Australia and we had a wonderful time. Every little detail was lovely - from delicious cake upon arrival, to Easter eggs around the house and a lovely bottle of wine. The decor is beautiful and has clearly been very carefully selected. The little garden and fairy lights as well all added to the charm. A stunning home- we felt very welcome and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Positive: Everything about Gingerbread Cottage was immaculate. Superbly fitted out, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean. We were surprised (& delighted) to find we had been left a wonderful welcome pack, delicious brownies, bottle of wine, crisps, milk etc. The location is ideal, a very quiet street with good footpath access to the city and easy walking to shops and cafes in St Dunstans. Altogether would highly recommend.

Positive: The cottage is perfectly fitted out with evrything you need and more. It is very nicely decorated and very homely. The location is perfect, you can easily walk into town. It also is a good spot for daytrips in the region. There are lots of leaflets in the cottage about things to do and Barbra was very helpful in advance and during our stay with tips and advice. We also enjoyed the garden with squirrels and lots of birds. We would recommend Gingerbread cottage to anyone. It's fit for a king.
Negative: It was a bit of a hassel parking in front of the cottage. Because it's so close to the center there are time blocks when you are not allowed to park there. Barbra explained it perfectly and offered to reserve a spot with our licence plate number. That was not necessary because there is free parking in the next street. Most of the time we could park in front.
Summary: We had a great time showing my parents around Kent.
