Summary: It was agreed among the group that this villa was the most beautiful place any of us have stayed. That includes 5 star hotels all around the world. 6 of us stayed here for a full week. The home was so beautifully designed and maintained with tasteful attention to every detail. Each bedroom was incredibly but simply decorated with the finest linens and built in closets to settle in. The bathrooms were large and had wonderful showers. The kitchen was a delight to cook in and we spent practically every minute in the outdoor dining area with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding hillsides. The photos on the website do not do this place justice. The house is breathtaking! The location of this villa also exceeded our expectations. It was a short 10 minute walk to the village with grocery stores close to the edge of town and a 10 minute walk/hike down a gravel path to the islands best beach (and we went to them all!!) This location is great with a group as people can do different things locally without a car. Lastly we cannot say enough great things about our wonderful hosts. They went over and beyond what we would have expected with their kind hospitality, excellent suggestions and immediate responses to our questions. I would not hesitate recommending Villa Thalassa and would return to Ios for this place alone.
