Negative: The sheets were not changed, we could smell previous guests odor, it is very unhygienic to make people sleep in the same sheets that were used by a total stranger.

Positive: Beautiful scenery. Peaceful. Enjoyed watching the animals. Esther who was managing the guests needs, was wonderful. She went out of her way to ensure you were comfortable.

Negative: The chairs in and outside the chalets were very uncomfortable. Also there is no soundproofing, so you can hear your neighbours conversations and bathroom activities. Would have enjoyed some activities like horse riding around the farm.

Summary: I will definitely go back. It was a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

Positive: I loved the quite environment, that was what I was looking for. We enjoyed the nature walk and even the animals coming close to the living area. Sunset around the BBQ was stunning.

Negative: Please put a bigger sign board on your gate for new guests not to miss the place.

Negative: The place is located deep on a sand road, the front gate is locked, the chalet is very cold , reception was not up to standard, there was only one very kind lady to welcome us and after showing us the unit informed us that we must pay R200, but they dont have card facilities, no atm and nearest shops etc is 19km away. We decided to give up and left. Unfortunately we paid before our upcoming stay, they dont have a cancellation policy, so we probably lost our money 😢 I wont recommend that place. We dont even know who the owner or host is of the ranch. Sorry, it a no go.

Positive: Great location, hiking trails, and space to explore for the kids. Nice braai facility, and quiet farm live.

Negative: It's not really dog friendly. Fence didn't keep our dogs in, so had to keep them on a leash.

Positive: The farm experience was great,we came prepared for minor hicups

Negative: With power outages-no power-no or little water-no hot water-no cellphone signal and no wifi signal.The owner can plan for other ways to heat water-solar backup lighting and solar power to keep borehole pump working and don't tell people on website free wifi it's with power nonexistent and even game animals maybe on photos.The website needs a total revamp.I think the negative issues wasn't too rough on the owner.Him or his foreman wasn't even on the premises.He asked a friend to help but she was also thrown into the deep-end because of escom powerfailures.Thankyou to Alida the friend that tried her best to be of assistance to us in the same situation thankyou.Pieter & Melinda Eloff.
