Summary: First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious. Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on menu. Staff very courteous throughout stay - nothing too much. Thanks all!

Summary: This is an unusual hotel in the same building as a theatre. In fact the box office is next to reception. We did have trouble finding the entrance and parking it is opposite the hospital. Check-in was good. Note there is no lift but the rooms are only on first floor so not too many stairs to climb. Our room and indeed the entire hotel has been newly renovated so very clean. A large room but no view overlooking a hard wall. Bed was a bit hard for my taste but slept alright. Wi-Fi was not good very weak signal. Dinner was average but breakfast very good. Would stay again .
