Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Can just see the sea from the balcony, but mainly faces a mountain. The large balcony got sun from mid-morning to late afternoon when it suddenly disappeared behind the mountain (in January). Within 200 yards of a supermarket. 10-15 minutes from the sea, port & bus station. Tastefully decorated & furnished. Every draw has something useful in it.

Negative: The address number and key finding information were not sent to me before I arrived in La Gomera. After searching around the street for a while for some clue to its location I checked my Booking.com messages again and the house number and key lock-box code information had been sent about check-in time and IN SPANISH. It would have been less stressfull if I had had this information the day before. At times there was quite a lot of traffic noise & I could hear the neighbours sometimes. The kitchen sink drained slowly. In the afternoon there is no escape from the sun, but this might improve in summer when the sun is higher. A USB port to recharge my phone (preferably in a bedside lamp) would have been useful.
