Positive: Beautiful Place, lots of nice little corners under the trees. Very clean and pretty pool area with the best baby pool. Spacious apartments with clean and good kitchen utensils, good shower. Very relaxed and warm place in general, we felt so welcome and just loved it there. We were there with 3 children and it was the perfect base in beautiful Tuscany, with a lot of space for playing outside.

Negative: Really nothing at all.

Positive: The total complex. It was beautiful, The swimmingpool, the trees and flowers. Good bed. And a lovely host.

Negative: It took a while before water in the badroom became hot. In the kitchen it didn't at all. We missed a more comfortable seat outside.

Positive: After looking at many places we liked this hotel as it had a pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam with the facilities. It has a winery on site and we got to taste one of the wines which was amazing. The owner Doreen, was welcoming upon arrival and was easy to communicate with during our stay. We were able to use the laundry which was a plus. We were a family of 7 and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and the 1 bed small villa. The rooms were beautiful and modern and clean. The 2 bed had a king size bed and 2 single beds, One shower and one bath and plenty of space for a crib. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made use of it. We had breakfast every morning on the lawn and stocked up from the local lidl 10 mins away. The grounds were stunning and scenic. Poggibonsi was only 10 mins away with a few restaurants, bars and dessert. San Gigimano was 20 mins away which was well worth the visit. Siena 30 mins away and Florence was 1 hour away. Perfect location for some site seeing and relaxation. Wineries are as close as 8 minutes away and restaurants around the area were within 15 mins either in the towns or in the mountains. Would recommend restaurant Triocco for a view. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone. Well worth the money !!

Positive: to meet these precious lodge during our 10-day trip in Italy. Tenuta Tegolato is peaceful, quiet, and beautiful place in every aspects. I dare say that the whole place is a masterpiece. To fully enjoy the Tenuta Tegolato, we spent most of our time in this place during our stay in Posibonssi. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to manage such a large plot of land meticulously and cleanly, but the host, Doreen, managed it perfectly. Doreen is the most kind and warm-hearted person we have ever met during our trip in Italy. Despite our late check-in and rental car issues, Doreen did her best to help us like the matters of her. She guided us around the place throughly and kindly even after our late check-in. On top of all, I highly recommend wonderful wine tasting program to future guests at Tenuta Tegolato. I'm sure everyone has no choice but to fall in love with the fascinated story and tastes of wines provided by Doreen. High quality cold-cut ham and cheese from local farms are also served during the wine tasting and I am sure you will love that too. Although it was a short stay, our experience at Tenuta Tegolato hosted by Doreen was truly unforgettable one. Postscript to Doreen: Hope to see you again and please contact me when you get a chance to visit San Francisco!

Positive: Doreen met us on arrival and showed us around. We were travelling with our daughter, so it was nice to see other families around the property too. Apartment had everything we needed, and the hosts left a lovely welcome gift of wine and olive oil from the property. Such a beautiful setting and a great location to base yourself if you want to explore Tuscany. You will need a car as the property is not central, but we were aware of that and it was what we needed. Pool is beautiful. We didnt get a chance to do the wine tasting, but would have loved to stay for longer. Highly recommend!
