Positive: We loved staying at Torre di Ponzano! We stayed here for a few nights during our honeymoon. The hospitality was incredible, and Alba and Andrew were so helpful in giving us recommendations for anything we were seeking (including winery recommendations, best way to do a day trip to Florence, restaurant recs, etc.) The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and clean! The pool was also a huge plus. Would definitely recommend having a rental car if staying here, as it is more off-the-beaten-path (which we liked!) but definitely does not make getting here easy from other methods of transportation.

Positive: Andrew and Alba are lovely hosts, very sweet and always up for a talk! There’s a few rooms, very cozy and nice. Cleaned everyday with new towels and water. Rooms had a good AC, which was very needed during our stay there! Thankfully we could also cool off at the swimming pool, where they have beds reserved per room.

Summary: Had an amazing week here and would definitely recommend this place for a relaxed vacation in the Chianti region!

Positive: The owners are very friendly and helpfull. Their home is so beautiful and the sourroundings are full of interesting villages and wineries. We were most impressed by the monastery in Badia di Passagiano. The place you must visit!

Positive: I usually don’t write ratings of any sort but this time I have to make an exception. Alba and Sani are two wonderful people, they are so welcoming and warm, they’ve met every our request, helped throughout our whole stay and even anticipated our needs beforehand (left us towels for sunbathing near the pool without asking for example). The location is excellent, everything is nearby and the sights are breathtaking! Our view from the room was magnificent! Everything was spotless and extremely comfortable like we were at home. Many thanks for all recommendations and advices - all were great. Again, such hospitality is rare nowadays and we’re so grateful we were hosted by these two lovely people! Will be back first chance we get ♥️
