Positive: The stay at this place exceeded all expectations! We stayed in a brand new, clean and modern room with a fully equipped kitchen - everything you need for a comfortable stay. The interior is very cozy, you can feel the care for every detail. Michela is an incredibly attentive and hospitable, always ready to help and make your stay even more enjoyable. The history of this house is especially touching. The family restored it literally from ruins, putting their soul and love into every wall. You can feel it in the atmosphere and in the little things. The view from the window is wonderful, and the pool is a special pleasure: clean, well-kept and regularly serviced. There is a special atmosphere of coziness and tranquility here. We had a wonderful time and are leaving with warm memories. Without a doubt, I give it 10 and sincerely recommend it to everyone!

Positive: A lovely accomodation-updated, comfortable great views and so many details that made it a wonderful place to stay with our family of 5! The pots and pans + other kitchenware is just enough to be able to make a full meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (which we did several times!) Adjustable shutters on all the windows and doors make it easy to control the light in the room if you want to sleep in. We also loved the pool to cool off in (after a long day in the hot and dusty atmosphere of pompeii- which is only 20 minutes away) & The pool was the perfect temperature too! Aside from the clean and comfortable rooms, Mikela and Francesco were such womderful hosts and responded to all our inquiries and requests promptly and kindly and were so helpful in every way possible! Loved our stay here, would come back in a heartbeat!

Negative: The matresses are pretty firm, slept great the first night but a little less wonderfully the second night. Nothing that would keep me from coming back again though! The private lane to the apartment is a bit steep and narrow, with a few tight turns, we were pretty nervous the first time up but followimg Francescos tips to navigate the road made all the difference! (most tricky the first time, easier subsequent times.)

Positive: Michaela is super nice and helpful. She helped us with everything even gave us a ride to restaurant so we could show us a shortcut the way back! When we arrived there was some local pasta in the room for us so we could make a pasta dinner! She also brought us some fresh tomatoes and zucchini from her garden. The place is amazing it is just renovated beautifully and you can tell that all the details are well thought. We also enjoyed the swimming pool a lot! Our room had a small balcony and you can see Vesuvu and the lights of Naples from there!

Negative: The mountain roads can be a bit scary first but after few times you get used to them 😊

Positive: Everything. Quite frankly everything. From the apartment itself, to the location (wonderfully cool in the Italian summer) with an amazing view of Vesuvius, to the pool to the hosts, everything was perfect. Michela and Francesco are the most amazing hosts, able to quickly react to any issue and full of tips and advice (real Neapolitan advice!). We honestly felt like family while we were there.

Negative: I can't think of a single thing.

Positive: First of all, the hosts are fantastic and truly want their guests to enjoy their stay. Michela went out of her way to make sure we had all our needs met, and even gave us her WhatsApp contact since we only had a data connection. Inside, our table had a tray of delicious snacks and there was a bag of local pasta in the pantry too. Fresh lemons probably aren't always available, but we were fortunate enough to be given some, plucked fresh from the tree. The building itself is brand new, and beautifully designed. WiFi is blazing fast and can easily stream whatever you want, and the TV had all the apps and could read our downloads from the USB. Best of all is the view. Pictures don't do it justice! Vesuvius, the lights of Pompeii, and the bay are all in full view from the lush canyon the apartment rises from. Easy drive to all the sights and over the hills to Amalfi coast.

Negative: Not much to complain about, but some guests might be intimidated by the narrow alleys needed to get there. Our Peugeot's navigation didn't give us the simplest way, but Google maps did. It really isn't a big deal if you're used to driving in busy Italian towns. This was our first trip to Europe and drove down from Paris in a rental through all sorts of situations. Southern Italy definitely had the most exciting driving we encountered so far, but we left without a scrape on the bumpers-- and I'll probably leave a much better driver than I ever was before;-)
