Positive: The rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable and with nice views of tea plantations! The staff is very kind. The food is delicious and fresh made. And they have another hotel by the reservoir with breathtaking views.

Positive: A very clean and spacious room with lovely views of the tea plantation around. Well furnished interiors all round, including the common lounge area. The kitchen produces excellent meals. Mr Thayaparan, the manager, was most accommodating and helpful.

Negative: The duplex unfortunately has been converted into a family room with a four poster bed on each floor. This makes it difficult to watch the tv. We didn’t use the second floor at all.

Summary: A great stay in peaceful surrounds.

Negative: Some misunderstandings during the communication, it's very hard to find the spot! Even locals have troubles to find it. There is nothing in the walking distance from the spot.

Positive: The view of the tea estates The spaciousness of the rooms and the central lounge area The congenial, kind and helpful staff - willing to make a meal to order! All the staff were well trained and very efficient. We felt spoiled! Rooms were well equipped with strategically placed outlets. It had an old fashioned feel but with modern conveniences

Negative: A bit hard to get to - but will worth a few bumps on the access road

Summary: The excellent reviews we read prior to coming were accurate. This is the place to stay in Hatton.

Positive: The room was very comfortable, clean and well organized. The kind hospitality extended by the staff was beyond expectation. The Ayurvedic head/neck and face massage was excellent. Credit goes to the Ayurvedic Lady Doctor who treated on me.

Negative: I cannot figure anything that I didn't like - all good and everything was perfect.

Summary: All in all, we had a great one night stay. Hopefully will come back with the family for two nights.

Positive: Everything - the food, the welcome, the tea estate tour, the room, the taxi man - my son loved the hot chocolate!! My wife and daughters loved the massages.

Negative: This is only a small point - the Booking.com mentions fishing as an activity however when I asked the staff they know nothing about it.

Summary: A wonderful part of our Sri Lankan tour - wonderful stay and great tea estate tour
