Positive: Don is the perfect host. We felt welcome, looked after and very comfortable. It was very quiet and the bed was very good. The location is perfect to explore the east of Auckland. Bus stop near the house. Beach and Lookout a short walk... A great place to stay.

Positive: The accommodation was very reasonably priced and comfortable, and the provisions were very generous. Still and sparkling water was supplied, plenty of milk, coffee grounds (plunger) or Nespresso pods, and a machine were also provided. There were plenty of tea options too. The very pretty Mission Bay is a short drive away! ( about 20 min to walk). Don the host was also very friendly and helpful!

Summary: Affordable and comfortable option when travelling to Auckland ( with a car).

Positive: Comfortable and clean. Don was an amazing host and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and helped us see the sites that we wanted around Auckland. Complete privacy offered while we were in his house. Best B&B experience yet!

Negative: More opportunity to make your own food would be nice but the house doesn’t really have the opportunity for that. There is a table, toaster, kettle, fridge, and coffee making equipment (with milk in the fridge). There’s a Nespresso machine and pods for a quick coffee but we LOVED the French press and Nespresso milk fridge.

Summary: Relax in a quiet neighborhood, closer to city sights!

Positive: What an absolute find- classy, convenient and comfortable From the moment we arrived Don made us feel right at home. From the spacious bedroom to modern bathroom everything was spotless and clean. We felt genuinely welcome from the moment of arrival, more so than any other B&B we have visited previously. Highly, highly recommended!
