Positive: Sebastiao was an outstanding host from start to finish. He was very friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house and grounds were absolutely amazing, even better than we expected, and clearly well maintained. The location was perfect, close to Porto and everything we wanted to see, which made getting around easy and convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and we are looking forward to staying here again.

Negative: We truly enjoyed our stay and can't think of anything that could have been better.

Positive: A beautiful house located within a large domain with a view to the Douro river. Accessible by car and an easy drive to both Porto (15 minutes) and the Douro Valley (1 hour and 15 minutes), with ample parking. Our guide in Porto told us this was one of the best locations to stay in around the city. The house is well-equipped and clean. The 2 bedrooms are identical with a comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom. Laundry machine on site. The host, Sebastiao, lives on tbe domain and is always available to help with a smile.

Negative: Not something we didn’t like, but an FYI that you must use Google Maps to find the house.

Positive: Beautiful property in a wonderful location. Sebastião our host could not have done more for us. The pool was absolutely amazing and we loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening and enjoyed a couple of BBQs as well. The property feels very private. The property is very handily located for so many excursions. We rented a car (and so handy to have EV charging on site!) but there is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive to the property. We took a lovely trip to the beach (on Sebastião’s recommendation) and it was only 25 minutes drive away. A fantastic spot for a relaxing break!

Negative: Everything was wonderful. The pool has fresh spring water which makes it amazing to swim in, but it is not heated. When we come next we will bring wet suits for our young children as they got a little cold some days in the pool when the sun wasn’t shining (although fine for adults!)

Positive: The view from the pool was amazing and the rooms were 5 star. Every detail was thought of from Towels to utensils. Sebastião was an amazing host and really made it feel like a home away from home.

Positive: We had a perfect stay here. The accommodation and swimming pool were beautiful and the host was so welcoming. Porto was easy to get to by both car and bus, although we'd recommend having a hire car for this location
