Positive: We stayed 6 nights at Tapa Agung View Resort and truly enjoyed our time there. The view of Mount Agung is absolutely breathtaking, the rooms are modern and clean, and breakfast was varied and tasty. At the beginning there was a booking issue, so we spent the first night in a bungalow and then moved to another room. In the end it even turned out to be an upgrade, with a larger balcony and the most beautiful view of Mount Agung. Of course, in a resort like this not everything always runs perfectly from the start. What really mattered to us, though, was that the team was always very eager to find solutions, make up for any inconveniences, and ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We especially want to highlight the wonderful staff. One employee Parwati stood out to us because she was always so friendly. When we once found an abandoned dog in the village and felt a bit helpless about what to do, she immediately offered to take him in – even though she already had two dogs of her own. This heartfelt kindness deeply touched us. Two other staff members Ratna&Ani also took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The resort is located a little outside of Sidemen (quiet location, with a night market and a small supermarket nearby, and the famous Mother Temple about 10 minutes away by scooter). Important to know: there is no Go-Jek service in Sidemen. Rides need to be arranged with local drivers, who charge higher prices than in other parts of Bali. Renting a scooter is therefore highly recommended. The resort itself is in the higher price range, but this is generally the case in Sidemen. Overall, a wonderful stay with a unique view and truly outstanding hospitality.

Positive: All the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The view from the hotel was superb—although it was a bit cloudy during our visit, it still offered a beautiful backdrop. We also had a wonderful time on our day trip to Sang Hyang Dedari; it was a memorable experience filled with stunning scenery and cultural charm.

Negative: There were noticeable marks on the walls, possibly due to humidity, though it's hard to say for certain. While they didn’t affect our overall comfort, they were a bit distracting and could benefit from some maintenance

Positive: The room is facing the Agung mountain, but due to the weather, we can’t see anything. The front desk and house keeping are quite friendly, we also got some gift when we checked out.

Negative: We ordered the Experience set breakfast.But the catering staff only served the main dishes. After we asked few times about the set menu and waited for another half hour, they started to serve the appetizer and dessert. It was really unhappy experience. I don’t know whether it’s unprofessional or on purpose. And the beer and beverage were well more expensive in the restaurant, 1 beer needs 6 euro, so please check the menu when you come to the restaurant. We had a nice Villa in Nusa Dua ,Kuta and Ubud , the beer max price is 3.5 euro.

Positive: I liked the view the most. Amazing scenery par up to lahangan sweet or even besakih. I couldn't see Mount agung at besakih temple due to the weather, then when woken up to the most amazing backdrop of Mount Agung. Bed comfortable, water super hot and great pressure, super clean which I like. Cotton bed robes and safety box to put my stuff when I walk around traditional market, but basically, people are nice and considered safe anyway. Market food was tasty, cheap, and fresh at 3pm when we were there. Close to express laundry place Miss Ratna was checking up on us if we needed anything every day, which was sweet of her. We were lucky the receptionist was able to drop us to the massage place close to the hotel. Great service from all staff overall, restaurant food was really tasty mix of international food and local cuisine. I chose all local flavours, and being Indonesian, i can attest they have the best taste in this region. Breakfast is plenty and very good you won't get bored plenty of choices, "Experience Breakfast " is the best IMHO. I love they put Marigold everywhere, on the table, on the stairs, in the room with Pandan Leaves (room smelling great) and local fruits, which is a nice touch and make it even more beautiful Thank you for our stay!
