Positive: A cracking local’s pub with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Very good food and nice staff.

Negative: A few little touches could make the rooms better - like a mirror about the bathroom sink and some form of ventilation in the room as the windows are painted shut.

Summary: Fantastic value for money accommodation above a super pub in a friendly town. Excellent, easy food and hospitality.

Positive: Lovely room and comfy bed in a great pub. Great food and beer. Liked having a coffee pot and fresh coffee in the room.

Negative: Everything was lovely. Could maybe do with a mirror in the bathroom.

Negative: This is an old building and appreciate that things can be difficult such as WiFi etc. However the room lacked something, it felt unloved. Plug points were an issue for charging up devices.

Positive: It was in a quiet area which is why we booked it, staff were lovely very friendly and helpful, garden was very spacious and ideal for the weathet we had on our visit. Room had what was needed, comfy bed great shower, parking on street within distance of Inn, will visit again.

Positive: room and shower lovely. Best drink tray we.ve had- lovely pottery, even a cafetere and real coffee grounds ! Wonderful meal , in the really lovely quaint pub and very friendly staff ..

Negative: Extractor noise outside room( nice owner next morning apologised and explained it was to do with the cellar and he.d try to sort) noise didn.t disturb once window shut and may have gone off midnight . Disapointed at no breakfast avalable on OUR day- they plan to increase - but nice cafe , few mins . Parking unclear ,we found a spot in the very busy square .There aparently IS off rd parking - But we were told none by bar staff.We suggest you ring for " yard" directions .
