Positive: Breakfast was lovely. Setting, service and food was hearty and flavorful.

Negative: It would have been helpful if I received an email before I arrived to say how to find the key to enter the room. Room name and room number and where key is kept so I could enter the room. Also, phone number to call owner. A helpful Portuguese family called the owner for me. Thank you.

Positive: The hostess/owner is very friendly and accomodating. The houses are absolutely unique to stay in for a night. They have the most amazing view from the balcony. The breakfast is really good and typical/traditional. They also have a small shop where you can buy some souvenirs like homemade compote.

Positive: When we arrived, the host placed us in Casa da Urze 3 as it was just me and my girlfriend and we did not need the extra bed that Casa da Urze 2 had. We were both still very happy with this! The house was incredibly cute and cosy - had a view over the mountains, a lovely fireplace that we lit every night (and which warmed up the house wonderfully and we had a fresh bucket of logs and pine cones to use every evening), we had a TV where we could pair up with my laptop and watch films, the bathroom was pretty and absolutely clean as well, the kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast that was included was small but filling enough (and we could always ask for an extra bit of bread & etc), the lunch food cooked by the host was delicious, the hosts themselves were very nice and caring and always available, and to finish off, Talasnal is an absolute picturesque gem of a place to come spend a few days in, hiking around through the beautiful natural routes nearby and disconnecting from the busy routine we all feel overwhelmed by from time to time! I will absolutely love to come here again, thank you so much to Casa da Urze and its hosts for this wonderful experience, it was a pleasure!

Negative: For some reason, we couldn't get any WiFi signal at the house, but we got mobile data just fine - if the hosts can look into this situation and fix it, then the house will most certainly be perfect (or very close to it at least!)

Positive: Lovely and cozy house in Talasnal. The place was very clean and well furnished. We felt at home staying there. We loved having breakfast at the terrace with amazing view.

Negative: Wi-fi is pretty weak but it’s not the issue of this accommodation. We know that phone signal is weak in this area, and it was fine with us. This is not the place for those who need internet connection all the time.
