Positive: Beautiful place with lots of potential to become a great resort one day. Seems to be still somewhat under construction so maybe that’s why we got a really good price. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the bed in the room was super comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Negative: Possibly we surprised them by booking 40 min before arrival so it wasn’t 100% clean - the room must have been sitting like this for a while and could have used a refresh.

Positive: The Cafe and "houses" are set around a couple of picturesque waterlily ponds with various Instagrammable spots to take advantage of. There are areas to sit beside the pond and in the small garden areas as well as inside the Cafe. The rooms are small but well equipped and we found it fine for the one night we were there. When we arrived the staff seemed to have no record of our booking but it was all sorted out fairly quickly. We ate dinner at the Cafe - quite early as last orders were at 6pm, and were served a very good spicy Tom Yung Goong soup which we both enjoyed. Breakfast was included in the room price and as we didn't want a full breakfast the staff kindly made us waffles with honey. The location is quite secluded, out in the middle of some fields away from the main road but we found it easily enough and there was plenty of parking space. We have several photos but the review site does not allow us to upload them.
