Positive: Staff is friendly and dinner was super delicious (but not cheap 15RM per person). We enjoyed the view (except for the rubbish). We also enjoyed the deck and the small kitchen (which has a fridge for guests). We played games and were happy with the coffee and tea facilities. The place is reachable by normal car, the cabins are in the back and there's no obvious place to check-in. The overall vibe was very relaxing. We didn't mind the basic cabins.

Negative: - Breakfast is a few snacks and just a loaf of bread - Overpriced (like everything in Borneo) for the basic room that you get in these surroundings - Dirty surroundings, the beach is filled with plastic and rubbish, so is everything surrounding the cabins - Based on the dirt and maintenance of the grounds, I didn't feel comfortable using the snorkel or scuba gear - Mattress has a nasty smell - This place could turn into a small paradise, if the maintenance and the dirt would have been better.

Positive: The accommodation is situated in a traditional village over the ocean. We loved the relaxed pace and waking up to the waves every day. The room was quite basic with a fan only and a cold shower. It's not for everyone. We had the option of eating meals prepared by the owners family and it was very delicious! It's a bit of a drive into town so this was a great choice. Snorkeling gear is available to use if desired. The owner is an amazing man involved in his community. One of his passions is the coral regeneration in the area which we were happy to support.

Positive: Located directly by the seaside. Coffee and tea and breakfast provided. There is a kettle and toaster in the comunal kitchen. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Peaceful. Small, local shop near by

Negative: Not very soundproofed but this is not uncommon. We actually were alone for two nights so there was no issue with noice.

Positive: So far this has been the best homestay where we have been staying in Sabah. We booked for one night and ended up staying almost a week. The location is stunning, the rooms are facing a pristine ocean. We swam more than once to the reef right in front of the place. Owner and family are very friendly and they are doing so much to preserve the reef. If you have a chance make them a donation on their found, their planting corals and doing a great job. Breakfast is included and you can have coffee, tea and water all day. They also rent scooter, snorkel and fins and cook lunch and dinner for you if you want to. In this secluded place you'll find all what you need!

Positive: Incredible location, the sea right infront of the accommodation and had the beach to ourselves. Junaidi the owner couldn't do enough for you, including arranging transport back to KK and a half day trip around some even more beautiful quiet spots. 3 days of relaxation and calm in a remote little village where everyone was very friendly. Food was incredible, lunch and dinner cooked by Junaidi's sister and she kindly catered for my allergy with no fuss at all. If you want quiet with not much to do but Snorkel from the front of the accommodation, read and walk on the beach then this is for you. If you want WiFi and great signal and lots going on then this place is not for you.

Negative: Rubbish on the beach was devastating but the same all around Malaysia.
