This two story cozy getaway has a stepdown living room with plenty of comfortable seating around a natural rock fireplace. Step out to a fenced in patio and enjoy the BBQ Grille or relax amidst the large Pine trees Upstairs the master bedroom has its own bath, vaulted wood beamed ceilings and window seats with cushions for that extra or unexpected guest. The other rooms have a bunk bed for and another queen sized bed. Freshly painted walls, skylights and redwood paneling add to the new yet rustic feeling. The complex provides tennis courts, large, open grass fields, sandy beechs on the lake, as well as Lake Tahoe's longest peir. With a short walk to town (1/4 mile) you can find restaurants, bike rentals, rafting, kayacking, golf. During the winter you can find world class skiing nearby at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, and Homewood and a sledding hill within the complex. Summary: We had a wonderful time. Property was nice. Kitchen had been updated and master bedroom and bath were nice. Only question is regarding the "sleeps 10 adults". There was a queen bed in the master, queen bed in 2nd bedroom, bunk bed with a full mattress and twin mattress. There were window seats in the bedrooms, so I guess that is where people could sleep. It really only sleeps comfortably 7 people, in my opinion. Maybe little kids would be comfortable on the window seats or the couch. I would recommend this place but realize it does not sleep 10 adults. Owners were very kind and responsive. Would definitely rent again & recommend. Best location in Tahoe City.

Summary: The bathrooms are great. The backyard is great. Love the location. But the downstairs and especially the kitchen need to be updated. Kitchen is original. The owners were very responsive.

Summary: The Location was excellent. Take the lake walk to the Gatekeeper Museum. Shopping and Restaurants. The unit was quiet, the private fenced yard was perfect for resting and day dreaming. the shore walk to the Lake shore and the pier was excellent for a vey relaxing walk. Enjoyed the interior space and large enough for guest to visit.

Summary: Location is great, property offered many amenities which our party enjoyed. Had problems with the unit......having only one key was an inconvenience for a party of 9; master bathroom shower is a health issue; BBQ hard to lite; and NO extra toliet paper was a panic issue. We were aware that the owner did not provide paper products such as paper towels, napkins, and nose tissues. But no mention that we had to provide toliet paper.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here, close to town and activities. The lake access and swimming pool in the condo complex were perfect with kids. The house is not updated or fancy but roomy, clean and has everything needed. Enjoyed the fenced patio with lots of outdoor seating provided and BBQ. Parking was easy and kids could ride bikes safely in complex or to town on the trails. Also Katie was very responsive to any questions.
