2 Bedroom House in Le Croisic

On the ground floor of the owners' house, 70m completely redone, independent and reserved for holidaymakers. The house is quiet, away from noise and summer entertainment on the quays, in the city center. Everything is accessible on foot or by bike (the beach, the quays, the shops or the wild coast path).
Large enclosed garden, redone lawn, not chemically treated, for the sole use of tenants, to enjoy grilling and outdoor dining. Garden furniture and barbecue provided.

Free parking spaces in front of the house.
5 spacious, bright rooms with double North-South exposure, well equipped and clean (we pay particular attention to the cleanliness of the premises):
- living room with leather sofa and large flat screen TV,
- large kitchen including fridge freezer, electric oven and microwave, 4 gas rings, hood and small household appliances (coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster), dishwasher. Washing machine at your disposal, free access, in the laundry room adjoining the apartment.
- bathroom and WC,
- 2 quiet bedrooms. 5 beds: double bed 140 x 200 and 2 bunk beds + 1 drawer bed 90 x 200 (the bedding is of quality, it is also a point on which we are vigilant).
We offer the services of a cleaning lady on departure on request, for +/- 50 euros.
We can also provide sheets / towels sets between 40 euros (for a couple) and 100 euros (5 people).
We point out that we do not earn money on these services. We strictly apply the rates of the cleaning lady and the dry cleaning.
We will do everything for your comfort, you will be well with us!

Summary: The apartment is quite big and very nice and bright. The property manager is nice and lives next door. The Apartment is perfectly situated and very near to good restaurants, the beach... The next is negativ but I might add that we are new to VRBO. We always book on Expedia which now also lists VRBO apartments. The property manager demands additional money for bed sheets, towels and the end cleaning if you don't to it your self (he will remind you a few times about this and gives hints where the vacuum cleaner is ...). It is possible that this is normal at VRBO and that it is written in the description. We were not used to this. We do not want to read every small written text and analyse different Appartements in detail before we book. So all this hidden costs and unpleasantries were a surprise. So if this is normal for VRBO...We won't book VRBO apartments in the future... Otherwise we got fooled.

Summary: From the first email with our host Catherine we felt us warm welcomed. She and her husband made this 3 weeks so easy and relaxing. The house has all you need for holidays and we enjoyed to have an own garden with chairs and table. It is definitely true, that you can reach the city with its restaurants , shops, all the fish wholesalers and the harbour by foot. Twice the week we enjoyed to shop in the market hall. The landscape of the Bretagne is so outstanding beautiful and we loved every single day and every weather. The accomodation is really worth to be recommanded. At last we want to thank Catherine and Jean-Marie for beeing so nice , warm and openminded with us. All the best for all the family including the lovely dog Osseo. Rolf and Diana Werdin
