Summary: Really good breakfast, well priced hotel but a bit outdated. Check-In was messy as we specifically asked for a quiet room so had to change which took 30 min. Overall nice stay.

Summary: I was at this hotel in Nov 2025. It was very different. My room overlooking the Cotopaxi volcano was excellent. This time I booked the same level of room and they never got it for me. First they sent me to a smaller room not overlooking the volcanoes. When I complained they found me another room but no ithe view was not there. Very disappointing. The staff is good and kind and the room was clean but things are showing their age.. thin and old towels and robes, remote to open curtains cracked and taped. For a so called 5 star resort I’d expect better. I will not stay there again for the price they charge.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at the hotel we had to upgrade our room on the 13th floor and I paid extra money for the same. The first room we got from Expedia was just a basic room and it was rundown. I would expect this hotel to be renovated from top to bottom on the 13th floor. The service was excellent room was great, but the bathtub was very old and difficult to get in and out, and there are fall risks for a lot of people up there without any safety bars excellent service by the concierge at the 13th floor executive general area excellent drinks, breakfast lunch food and servers were excellent. I would give them 10 or 10 but the property needs to be updated to keep up with the standard.

Summary: I checked in early and was prepared to pay a half day extra fare for checking in early. The hotel had availability and I needed privacy for an important business call. Instead of charging me a half day extra, the staff charged me for an additional full day at the highest rate possible. I accepted because I had no choice. But I will not return to Swissotel again. Nor will anyone from my organizations. I am the CEO of my company and sit on several boards. We travel to Quito often. But not to your hotel anymore.
