Summary: We drove up just after New Year looking for the quiet winter holiday that can be hard to get with family, and this rental provided exactly what we were looking for! The building is a treasure and fun just to hang out in. Our group of old college friends took turns cooking meals and playing card and board games, plus walks down to the beaver dam and back. The toddler had a blast sledding down the little slope in the back yard. We hope to come back soon!

Summary: Friend had a wedding nearby and we stayed the weekend here. Lovely property, stilysh, clean, warm and very comfortable. Absolutely would return. Would love to have explored the state forest nearby but didnt have the time. Laura was a great host and home had nice body wash, shampoo, coffee and nice dishes, washer and dryer. Bring your own groceries as there isnt much in the area although we didnt look that hard as had meals at the wedding venue.

Summary: My wife , mysf and our 13 year old dog enjoyed our stay very much. The 3 bedroom was much more than we needed but I have to be honest that I fell in love with the timber framed home . I am a woodworker and former Industrial Arts teacher and really enjoyed the Post and beam framing .
