Welcome to a charming 1 bedroom garden suite, centrally located and close to the University of Victoria, Camosun College and downtown Victoria. Our sweet suite is custom designed and built for snow-birds, visiting professionals or a small family on holidays.
The suite is well appointed with recessed lighting, dimmer switches and hardwood floors. The contemporary kitchen with granite counters, 4 new appliances, oak table and mid-century chairs contains all kitchen and dining wares for easy living. The kitchen's big bright windows open out onto a private southeast-facing patio and garden with a barbecue.
The comfortable living room has an oversized couch, that folds down into a double bed, thick carpets and side chair. High speed internet, flat screen TV. A comfortable desk is recessed into the study bay. The 4 piece bathroom is wrapped in modern tile, with a special low height bathtub for easy step-in. The bedroom has a wood-framed queen size bed with cozy sheets and blankets, a hardwood bureau, night tables and lamps.
A separate closet containing the washer and dryer if off the bedroom.
A parking space is adjacent to the garden and off the street.
A main bus route is nearby and easy access to the airport and ferry highway, the Cedar Hill Golf Course, Recreation Centre and ocean beaches and parks.

Summary: As a regular long stay traveler (2 weeks here) I can highly recommend the Cedar Hills Garden Suite.Greg and Keni have created a comfortable and quiet space (it's just as nice as it looks in their photos) perfect for a single or couple in the heart of Victoria. It's an easy 10-15 minute drive to anywhere in greater Victoria (shopping and dining options are just minutes away), and there are bus stops going downtown close by. Closer to home there is access to the tranquil all-weather Cedar Hills Golf Course Trail at the end of their street (be sure to walk the half mile to the duck pond at the north end!).The suite has been well designed to take advantage of the available space. It was immaculately clean, the bed was quite comfortable (even with my bad back), the kitchen is modern and was fully equipped, the bath is modern, the washer and dryer (located in a small closet in the bedroom) are new, the wifi signal was strong throughout, and the viewing options on the large TV were good (I mostly streamed Netflix and Disney ). The suite entry is from a quaint small private patio (the hosts only came into the yard when I was gone to clean the patio and to mow the lawn).Greg and Keni were gracious hosts, showing me around the suite when I arrived (they provide a small booklet detailing the suite's features) and going out of their way to help me with a few things during my stay.

Summary: Enjoyed the location near the lovely golf course and the hiking trail around it. Good grocery stores within short distance. People were friendly and helpful too. Parking downtown was a bit of a challenge so we used the excellent bus system which turned out to be easy to use and we were able to access it near our VRBO. A pleasant stay Thank You

Summary: I have stayed here before. I chose it again because it's perfect for me. I come to Victoria every so often to visit friends but prefer to have a place to myself. I had a car so the location was fine. Parking is not an issue. I walked the trail at the Cedar Hill Golf Course (one block away) a number of times when I was there. There are lots of pots/pans/dishes/cutlery/bowls etc. You can get your streaming apps on the TV. I'm a bit of a CNN fan so was happy to find it was available. I needed new batteries for the TV remote and the owner got them to me right away. Bed was comfortable. Light was bright enough for reading and I like that you can turn the overhead ones off from the bed. I'd be happy to stay again.
