Positive: It is in a great setting on a farm. The property itself was immaculate and clean. We had a sincere, warm welcome from the owners and family. After a long journey it was much appreciated. Speaking of warmth, underfloor heating with good thermostat controls meant it was toasty inside. Everything needed for a pleasant stay was there, which meant no need to shop for any basics, so we could instantly relax. Our dog was very welcome with a bowl and towel ready to use. Walks from the property to the river (Thames) were regular features of the days. We loved our stay for a wintry week of ice and cold rain.

Negative: What’s not to like?

Summary: Loved it all. We will definitely make this first choice when in the area again.

Positive: Brilliant location, located off the main roads, only sounds you could hear were what you'd expect in the countryside, sheep, horses and birdsong. This is where to go if you want to fully disconnect, relax and re-engage with the rest of humanity when it suits you (or you need to find a good pub or cafe for breakfast) :-)

Negative: Mobile coverage was patchy, both a blessing (digital detox was much needed) and a curse to the phone battery and needing to recharge regularly. However Wifi is fantastic so if you need NetFlix or WhatsApp calling there's no bother here.

Summary: We'll be back - a wonderful farmstay close to Witney, Oxfordshire.

Positive: The property was on a working farm which was beautifully kept and in a great location. The owners were both welcoming and friendly. The second bedroom was a little on the small size with no hanging space but fine for 3 nights.

Positive: It was a wonderful cottage on a working farm. Our kids loved being so close to the animals. Rachel and Dave were so kind to the kids and showed them around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Positive: Everything! Exactly as I imagined

Negative: Only that it had no dryer and the kettle had a lot of lime scale but very very minor issues. We had a lot of fun in the cottage :)

Summary: Wonderful stay with good opportunity for my 2.5year old son to interact with the animals :)

Positive: We came this summer from Switzerland to find peace and get close to basics, in touch with nature and what really matters And this is exactly what we found in this precious place. Simplicity, people with immense heart and a lovely place to stay The house is very well equipped, calm and ideally located at reasonable distance from so many points of interest Feeling grateful Thank you for your kindness and memorable moments !!! 3 months already passed and still very present in my memories
