Positive: Very nice villa with unusual open design. The host was very attentive, always there immediately if we had a question or issue. The rooms around the pool are well done, all quite private with well positioned greenery. One of the best restaurants on the island is nearby within walking distance. It is a little remote for those seeking action, but nice and quiet for those looking to relax. Nice pool too. Highly recommend.

Negative: We definitely missed an outdoor area with table and chairs and bbq, but understand from conversations with the host that there had been one before which had been abused.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. The place was absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The owner was extremely kind and always available — whenever we had a request or a small issue, it was taken care of immediately. We felt very welcome and well looked after throughout our stay. We can highly recommend this villa to any type of travel group and would love to come back!

Negative: We did have a small issue with a drain in one of the bathrooms, but the owner took care of it immediately and handled everything quickly and professionally.

Positive: It's a beautiful property with 4 cottages and an amazing common area where you can lounge, have dinner, play games etc. we were a group of 7 friends and we spent most of our time in the pool. Arno is a wonderful host, who makes sure you are comfortable, and have all the necessary information to that will make your life easier on the island. Needless to say, if I am ever again in Phangan, I will definitely like to stay in Surya Villa again.

Negative: There's absolutely nothing to dislike. It's a perfect vacation stay.
