Positive: We had a wonderful 4 night stay in Vaison-la-Romaine at the “Sur le Pont” apartment of our host Chris. Chris was a great host since he is British and thus speaks acceptable English. Also, he ran a B&B before moving to Vaison and is very professional. The apartment on the second floor (first floor in France) was delightful and quiet considering it is on a major pedestrian street. It was clean, light and cheery with windows on one side overlooking the Ouveze River and the medieval city sitting on the hill directly across the river. And on the other side overlooking the Roman Bridge with a nice balcony where you can sit with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and watch the surge of people passing by. The kitchen was very well equipped. Chris also helped us find some very nice restaurants at which we dined..

Positive: The apartment is centrally located in town, close to public parking and all amenities the village offers. The apartment has an absolutely beautiful view overlooking the river and old town. We found the apartment very comfortable, a great place to relax after a long day of site seeing. We highly recommend it to anyone considering a booking in Vaison!

Positive: This is an absolutely unique apartment right between the lower and upper villages overlooking the historic roman bridge with a view of the river and even has a little terrace overlooking it. The main living room/kitchen is very spacious and well appointed with lots of dishes, a dishwasher, books to read, big comfy couch, even ice in the freezer. Everything is very clean and modern. Parking was easy in a nearby large lot, lighted and seemed safe. Wifi worked great. The host met us and gave us a great overview of how everything worked and provided some great information about the area including wine tasting.

Negative: This place is perfect, I only hope I can stay there again for longer.
