Beautiful and comfortable holiday home on a background of green, with stunning, shaded terraces and a lovely 10x5 m pool, surrounded by beaches and a fence for security.

It is ideally located in a quiet location, not overlooked by any neighbour, on a large, 7 ha of fenced private property with trees in the Luberon regional park.
It is located in the Vaucluse department, at the southern border, close to Durance, 5 minutes away from the Bouches-du-Rhone and Var departments.
Villelaure is close to many beautiful villages: Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Cucuron, Gordes, Isle sur la Sorgue, etc.
Only 1.5 km from small shopping facilities and 7 km from Pertuis.

Summary: We stayed with our family (9 adults) for a week in the house of Francis and enjoyed it very much. Spacious, clean, and the communication with Francis was great, he is a very friendly and welcoming man. A lot of privacy on the property and the garden is completely sealed (great for dogs). Amazing area. Would recommend!

Summary: The hosts were friendly and very responsive both to messages before our stay and to our requests during our stay. They went out of their way to make our visit hugely enjoyable and gave us several valuable recommendations for local places to visit. The house is spacious and exceptionally clean, although we spent most of our time outside where there are several well-furnished areas in shady/sunny spots as required. The heated pool is outstanding. i would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Summary: We stayed here with grandparents and three children of 5yrs and under. We had a lovely time. The pool was great and safe with the gate. The garden has many shady areas, and tables and chairs. Lots of toys and games to play with for the children. The rooms are good with recently refurbished en-suite bathrooms. We had a fab holiday 😊

Summary: We have just spent a week in this lovely home with our son and daughter and five grandchildren - 7,6,5,4 and 2. There are not too many houses that you feel comfortable with such little children but Francis has made it just that. Wonderful swimming pool which is fenced and gated and was used by all 11 of us each afternoon. On top of that there is a great games room outside and plenty of land for the children to run around safely with peace of mind for parents knowing the gates are locked. The area has an abundance of lovely villages to visit, markets to buy fresh produce and lots of cycling and walking paths. My thanks go to Francis and his wife, Sylvie, for making our stay so pleasurable.

Summary: Large villa that suited our family of 6 adults and two children perfectly. Francis & Sylvie were excellent hosts providing us with fresh eggs & vegetables & cool drinks on arrival. He even shouted us some oysters at the local Sunday market in Saint-Martin-de-Castillon. Lovely pool complete with pool toys in restful surroundings. We loved our stay exploring many of the beautiful villages in the Provence and Luberon regions and sampling many, many of the local rosés and delicious fresh produce.

Summary: We enjoyed a lovely family holiday here from the 4th to the 19th of June 2016. Eight of us in total ranging from Ollie the toddler to grandpa Barry, with a few others in between. On arrival (11pm due to late flight) we had a little trouble finding the house as the postcode didn't take us to the Villa. However after a frantic half hour of driving up and down various driveways in the dark we were thankfully flagged down by a very happy Francis and we were escorted to the house without being arrested. Two bottles of wine awaited us from a local wine Co-op and our holiday began ! The house is fantastic, very spacious and simply furnished. Large galley kitchen although no oven but there is a great BBQ and plancha so we didn't miss the oven at all ! The heated pool was perfect and has steps which suited our 3 year old, although there is no shallow end as such, the depth is around 5 feet 6 inches across the length of the pool. Plenty of outside seating/dining areas and lots of places to escape each other if you feel the need ! The nearest Supermarket is a Hyper U (French Tesco) in Pertius around 10 minute drive and is massive ! There are several wine co-ops nearby which sell great wine too. The nearest Village (Villelaure) is about 2 miles away and has two Boulangeries, mini market, bar/cafe but not much else. Francis does provide several bicycles and we loved cycling to the village each morning for our bread and croissants ! There is a great Pizza van which parks up on your way into the village too (if you've had too may glasses of Rose to drive, With a bungee cord and some careful riding you can fit 4 large Pizzas on the rear rack of the Blue bike, ;) Francis was very helpful when needed and wasn't intrusive at all, he and his wife live in an adjoining house but you wouldn't know as they totally leave you to it and you really feel like the place is your own. There are no stone steps outside for toddlers to fall down, the pool is fenced and very secure and there is plenty of space for them to run around ! To conclude we had a very pleasant stay and thoroughly recommend the house. Having been visiting France for over 15 years staying in similar places to varying degrees of success, I can confidently say that this was one of the best houses we have stayed in. The interior might be considered a bit minimalistic by some people, but we found it both practical and functional, lacking very little. Très bon et je vous remercie, Francis

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay here. The house is gorgeous and the setting is idyllic. We stayed for two weeks in may and have already booked to go back next year! The house is well equipped and all rooms have their own shower/toilet. The surrounding area is beautiful and the owners Francis & Sylvie are the highlight of the trip!

Summary: Francis and Sylvie Granon are excellent hosts who cannot do enough to ensure that their guests enjoy a perfect stay at their property at Villelaure. Their house is beautifully maintained with totally secluded grounds and pool. It is located close to a number of historic towns with many excellent restaurants and the shopping and culture of Aix-en-Provence is only some 40 minutes drive away. We have access to a number of French properties in other areas but now consider a June stay with the Granons a must in our plans.

Summary: Together with our 4 kids, their partners and our grand child we experienced an unforgettable vacation at this peaceful location in the middle of nature, called 'la plaine' by the Villelaure locals. The property is mirroring the passion and generosity which Francis and Sylvie are leaving behind after the very first encounter. The way all is arranged and taking care off shows a genuine care for what guests in vacation mood are looking for.
